From the first time you strap into a Legend Car or Bandolero, you become a part of a fraternity of racers that stretches over 30 years. Beginning with the idea for an affordable race car by the late O. Bruton Smith and former Charlotte Motor Speedway General Manager Humpy Wheeler, famed road course champion Elliott Forbes-Robinson helped develop the very first Legend Car. It was a 5/8-scale version of the NASCAR modifides made famous by NASCAR legends Fireball Roberts, Curtis Turner, Buck Baker, Speedy Thompson, and Banjo Matthews.

U.S. Legend Cars Produces 8000th Legend Car

Friday April 11, 2025

A milestone in the history of U.S. Legend Cars International was hit this week. As the world's largest manufacturer of race cars, the fabrication shop at USLCI in Harrisburg, North Carolina produced its 8000th Legend Car chassis. The timing could not be more symbolic, as the chassis, serial number LC008000, was completed days after U.S. Legend Cars International, formed in 1992 as 600 Racing, celebrated its 33rd birthday.

U.S. Legend Cars International, which started as 600 Racing in 1992, has True Brvnd 600 Racing hats for sale its Charlotte and Las Vegas locations while supplies last. Each hat is $35 plus shipping if not picked up. We will combine shippening if ordered with parts.
