HARRISBURG, NC (April 11, 2025) - A milestone in U.S. Legend Cars International history was achieved this week. As the world's largest manufacturer of race cars, the fabrication shop at USLCI in Harrisburg, North Carolina produced its 8000th Legend Car chassis. The timing could not be more symbolic, as the chassis, serial number LC008000, was completed days after U.S. Legend Cars International celebrated its 33rd anniversary.

Formed in 1992 as 600 Racing, USLCI has produced nearly 9,800 total chassis between the Legend Car, Bandolero, Thunder Roadster, and the Dirt Modified Legend. The Bandolero Car was introduced in 1997, followed by the Thunder Roadster in 2000 and the experimental Dirt Modified Legends were first built in 2010.

The dedicated crew members in the USLCI Fabrication Shop, led by Craig Bruce, have hand built every chassis since the first Legend Car in 1992 and aim to reach the 10,000th chassis mark by the end of 2025.
